Video Updates

Alright, so you probably noticed I haven’t posted an OLP in about a month. Sorry about that. O.o

I was visiting a certain someone in Canada, and ended up staying 3 weeks, so I didn’t get any regular episodes done. I did get the 10 Reasons Why Cool As Ice Is Better Than Citizen Kane video done though, which is actually an idea I’ve had for awhile. So, here’s an update on what’s coming up, assuming plans go as intended (if you don’t want spoilers for what I’m going to review, here’s the heads up now):

I don’t have much time left for an OLP this week, so it’s going to be another Radu Reviews. I promise it’ll be fun. I also have other episodes planned for it, but those will be put aside for catch-up after this next one.

After that, it’s my long-awaited review of Crowfoot, a 90s failed pilot starring Kate Hodge. I promise hilarity here, it’s one I’ve been looking forward to reviewing. I’ll just say this: it’s about a part-native-american with psychic powers who’s a detective, and he falls in love with the ghost of the victim.

After that it’s No Retreat No Surrender and No Retreat No Surrender 2. I don’t plan on reviewing the other sequels (there’s 4 or 5 I think), but I had to do 2 because Cynthia Rothrock is in it, which is the main reason I watched these. I was not expecting much from No Retreat No Surrender, but it’s actually one of the most hilarious martial arts films I’ve watched. There’s a lot to go over, but the main thing is this: the ghost of Bruce Lee is a supporting character in this. And he sponsors Diet Coke. Also Van Damme had his first big role in this. The sequel is in name only but it was Rothrock’s only film in American theaters. It’s also pretty amusing, though not nearly as entertaining as the first one.

After that we have The Amazing Bulk. I think I’ve found a new Birdemic or The Room here. I shit you not, it’s that fucking fabulous. Just watch the trailer, you will not be disappointed.

And the last I have planned at the moment is Monster High, a movie which I absolutely loathe. I’d go so far as to call it the “anti-comedy.” Hopefully that’ll be entertaining. ^-^

As for Manic Episodes, I have not forgotten it, it’s just been put aside for time lately. There are a few series I’ve been watching that I plan to cover, including the 80s Beauty and the Beast series and the Tremors TV series (though I might cover the movies too, we’ll see how that pans out). I had an idea to go over She Wolf of London again, a video for each episode, to go even more in-depth, especially now since I’ve become so obsessed with it and noticed a lot more things that I didn’t before. I also plan to talk about Supernatural, Xena, and some other of my favorite shows, but again, I have no idea when this is going to happen. But they are planned and they will happen eventually. :) Also, if anyone knows where to find the series Homeboys From Outer Space, I need to see this.

That’s it for updates, hope everyone is doing well. See ya!
